Actor. Technology Professional. Motorsport Enthusiast. Singer. Raconteur.
This is who I am. I'm the kind of guy who was never quite certain what he
wanted to do with his life, so I made my best attempt at trying it all.
As life would have it, it appears that a desire to explore all the world
has to offer, and the will to succeed can take one anywhere and
everywhere.
I came to develop a high level of mechanical aptitude early in life, which led to my interest in motorsport and
creative technology. This fueled my interest in Computer Graphics Imagery
at an early age, and lead to being involved behind the scenes of several
feature films before graduating high school. With the rise of computer
technology through the 1990's, I became increasingly involved with
multimedia content design and online content delivery.
I banged out a quick degree in Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) and
went on to work in the entertainment industry for clients including
Threshold Entertainment, Emagine Studios, The Walt Disney Company and
several others. Through this, I became a rather highly skilled Systems
Administrator, being contracted by several firms including IBM, EarthWeb
and Mag Film, and working with clients including Sony, Chase Manhattan,
Pfizer and the NBA.
Somewhere along the line I developed a keen desire to try my hand in
front of the camera, as opposed to my traditional role behind it, and
became increasingly involved with the performing arts. Sepcifically,
Musical Theatre. Through that, I had little choice but to develop a singing
voice, and have since become a rather good dramatic tenor with three and
a half octaves of range.
All of this has led to a rather verbose, yet unique set of skills and
interests, which have served to take me around the world on various
projects over the years, and allowed me to work with some amazingly
creative people.

Well, I finally managed to redesign this site. It had been kicking around in various formats for the last half decade or so, and I'd never really quite decided what to do with it. So, out with the old, and in with the new.Copyright © 2006 by Paul Summers. All Rights Reserved.
A bunch of new stuff will soon follow, including audio clips from my upcoming CD, images of my under-development race car, and a few other things. Stay tuned! --PS
