Ever since my first motorcycle at the age of seven, I've become something
of a motorsport junkie. If it has wheels and an engine, I've probably
raced it at some point. This includes, but is not limited to: Ferrari 355
and 308, Porsche 911 Carerra, 930 Turbo, GT2, Toyota Supra Turbo, Chevy
Corvette C5, Dodge Viper, and several others including most racing
motorcycles. Specifically, the Ducati 916 and 996, Suzuki GSX-R and Honda
CBR series.
I've run Regional Amature Superbike, AMA, SCCA and more private hill climbs and cannonball
style races than I can often remember. I tend to have the most fun on
local exotic runs and the like, however. At least until Bacon Air shows
up.
These days, I have little time for competetive motorsports, so I've been
sticking to private track days (Ferrari Club of America, BMW events, etc),
Performance Driving Association, PCA and so forth.
Current plans include entering the Summers Racing Supra Turbo in the 2007
Tire Rack® One Lap of America event under the SSGT1 class. Stay tuned
for coverage!
